You do not need a referral to see an Exercise Physiologist unless you are claiming a rebate through Medicare, DVA or Workcover.

Exercise Physiology is a specialised allied health service that uses exercise as medicine to help people manage injuries, chronic conditions, pain, mobility issues, and general health concerns.

Your first appointment is all about getting to know you. We will talk through your health history, goals, current challenges, and any concerns you may have. We may also assess your movement, strength, balance, mobility, and function so we can create a plan that is safe and tailored to you.

Not at all. Many people come to us because they are unsure where to start, have lost confidence, or are managing pain or health conditions. That is exactly what we are here for.

No, you do not need a referral to see an Exercise Physiologist privately. You are welcome to book directly with us. Some funding types, such as Medicare, DVA, ReturnToWorkSA, NDIS, or other third party programs, may require specific paperwork or referral documentation.

You may be eligible for Medicare rebates if you have a Chronic Disease Management Plan from your GP. We can help explain how this works.

Yes, if you have the appropriate extras cover, you may be able to claim Exercise Physiology services through your private health fund. We have HICAPS facilities on site so you only pay the gap.

Yes, we work with NDIS participants and can provide Exercise Physiology support where it aligns with your goals and plan.

Yes, we work with a range of funded clients including DVA, Medicare, ReturnToWorkSA, Sonder, and others. If you are unsure whether you are eligible, please get in touch and we can point you in the right direction.

Please bring any relevant referral paperwork, scan or test results if you have them, a list of medications, and comfortable clothing you can move in. If you have private health insurance, you may also wish to bring your health fund card.

Wear comfortable clothes and supportive shoes that you can move in easily.
