Strength Testing
These sessions are a little different from our usual classes and focus on testing your strength in one specific lift — generally the deadlift, back squat, or overhead press, but can be adapted to one of your regular gym exercises. You will choose one strength assessment for the session, and that is where our full focus will be. These are undertaken once every 3 months.
- You want to safely test your strength in a specific lift under the guidance of an Exercise Physiologist
- You would like to find out your 1-repetition maximum, or 3-repetition maximum if that is more appropriate for you
- You want the reassurance of strict testing protocols and close supervision to ensure safety throughout the session
- You are curious to see just how strong you are
- You want to better understand the right training loads to help support strength and bone health
